Here is the Q&A from the second SBS 2008 Tips and Tricks Amy and I hosted on December 22, 2008. The meeting recording will be available shortly (check back to the blog for an update).

Tim Sullivan Asked: Will this be available as a recorded webinar? If so, how will I be able to access it? I probably won’t be able to stay on this for the whole session today.

Eriq Neale Answered: Yes, it will be available in the next day or two. Check the blog (www.thirdtier.net/blog) for access information.

Mark Asked: Can you use a change role to let migrated computer accounts appear on the console?

Amy Babinchak Answered: computer accounts only show if they are in the correct active directory OU. I’ll ask Eriq to show you.

Mark Asked: Can you guys do a migration from sbs 2000 to sbs2008 and a migration from sbs 2003 to sbs 2008 webcast?

Amy Babinchak Answered: We’ll take it under consideration. There certainly is enough material there!

Mark Asked: What’s the difference between the standard & advanced mode sbs consoles

Amy Babinchak Answered: Advanced mode add more options under Tasks.

Mark Asked: when will the on demand of this webcast be avaiable?

Eriq Neale Answered: Should be available tomorrow.

Ken Shafer Asked: I would echo the need for a migration webcast (2003-2008). Thank you Amy and Eriq!!! Merry Christmas!

Amy Babinchak Answered: Happy holidays to you as well!
