I found myself with a problem. I had saved the username and password in Internet Explorer for a webpage using the account of a member of my staff. I did this because at the time I didn’t have my own account. Now I do but every time I go to that website, Internet Explorer remembers his account information, so I would type my account information in but next time I visited the site there was his account information again. So how do you get Internet Explorer to forget the username and password for one website?
Turns out it is simple. Go here:
Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\Credential Manager
or go to Search and type Credential Manager
or in Internet Explorer to go Internet Option, Content, AutoComplete then Manage Passwords
they all get you to the same place. From Credential Manager you can edit or delete web or windows credentials individually by website, service or application.
