This month Third Tier welcomes guest presenter Dean Paron, product manager of Microsoft MultiPoint Server to our Third Thursday webinar. I know what you’re thinking…what’s MultiPoint Server?

MultiPoint Server is a new implementation of Terminal Services. It allows you to reuse older PC’s, use terminals instead of PC’s or even eliminate PC’s by connecting via USB multiple people directly to the MultiPoint Server. Everyone gets a Windows 7 desktop display and the admin can view everyone desktops from a remote location. You need to see it in action and hear Dean’s explanation of how it works. Although built with schools in mind, although built with schools in mind, I totally believe that it has a place in small business as well. It’s very cool and I think everyone of us can find a use for in small/medium businesses.
