MSPs struggle to explain to clients how much email threats have changed in the last few years. Today’s attacks are less about obvious attachments and more about stealing usernames and passwords through credential harvesting.
At your next meeting, say something like this: “Email threats have changed. We’re seeing a lot more credential harvesting techniques. We’re updating your security policies, but we also need to train your employees so they know what to look for. When can we schedule that?”
This will open the door to a business conversation about security, training, and your ongoing value as their MSP.
